[nospaces][googlefont=Roboto:300,400] [attr="class","jarbbgun"] [attr="class","jarbbgunt"] [attr="class","jarbbgunicon"] [attr="class","jarbbguntext"]An interesting way? Metaphor raised her eyebrow a little bit, only to remark a certain disagreement which faded after looking around. Yes, it might be slightly interesting. Seeing how everyone was so cheerful and chattering, it was only one reason more to bring some suspense in all of it. "That might contain a grain of truth - the higher the fly, the deeper the fall," she said with a subtle evil sounding in her voice, like the stroke of a wing unseen. "This environment let some of them feel like..." Metaphor didn't finish her sentence, but it was quite clear what she meant, looking at some content and girlish chattering only a few witches next to them. They behaved unworthily in her eyes and still they called themselves witches. But maybe her point of view was just too gridlocked? Nah.[break] Metaphor really was pleased with the aquaintanceship she made right now. She always have been fond of subtle evil, even though she sometimes even missed the point. But she learnt with every day, and she would become a great witch one day - being able to call herself evil queen. "I haven't seen anyone of interest so far," the snow white haired girl stated, eyeing the witches as well as the specialists - the fairies weren't at all attractive for her, too sunny, too much laughter and happiness. A grin scurried over her face. "I usually tend to be observant as well - the details reveal more spots to strike," she said, but today she wasn't really focused. The whole boredom probably kept her all annoyed, she maybe should think a little bit more "positively" right now. She straightened herself deciding on that and introduced herself after YVETTE CALLISTUS had done.[break] "A poet's capable of thinking out of the box," she said with a secretive smile on her face, grinning a little bit with underlying insanity. "If there's something that can fly, an idea shall be born and try whatever it likes." Her eyes touched the sky for a moment before resting on the earth again. Her words didn't always made sense for she sometimes used the poetry-like form of speaking, maybe because of her delirium, maybe because of her own style of talking. The most interesting thing about it was certainly observing the reaction.[break] [break] Concerning the festivities, the answer she got was rather airy, breezing around with no impact at all. Metaphor rolled her eyes as she mentioned the fairies and the specialists, but couldn't help grinning a little bit about plans made within this very moment. "So better keep everything in place - nobody would like to see something broken today, as much as nobody dares to reach out," she said with that subtle grin on her face giving the inner evil a place to show outwards. However, as ephemeral as it was, just like Yvette's, her gaze faded back to normal after a short amount of time. "I probably wouldn't be able to pull myself together well enough to sit down here silently if we wouldn't," she said with an ironical smile on her face. She almost wished to be annoyed by anyone so she would have a reason... but... today was a happy day for everyone, right? Appreciating the peace as long as it lasted.[break] She bent a little bit forward, and smirked again a blink long. "Preparations are better made in quietness and peace," she added, watching the merry people cautiously. It seemed like there were some people of royalty, oh dear. When people would stop admiring people born with wealth and rights? She was more fascinated by those who made their way up to the top, with nothing to start and everyting to end with.[break] [break] And then there was the blonde girl sitting next to her, too. It was unusual that Metaphor found an encounter as pleasing as now. But she didn't think too long about it now, maybe later, maybe never. "Oh, don't talk about decorating - I usually leave things like they are because I can't decide." It took her years in fact to get her own room at home tooled elegant enough for her. "There wasn't an announcement who's with whom in a dorm, right?" Metaphor didn't think it directly, but today she could really have missed anything of importance.[break] "I'm excited to learn more about hexes finally - my parents never wanted to teach me anything besides..." For another short moment, she lifted the napkins around them. This little piece of magic would be allowed, wouldn't it? "And away from my siblings... they can be so nerving," she sighed, shaking her head. They asked her too many times too stupid stuff. And they should become witches and magi one day? She almost feared the next generation of airheads.[break] "Only a few tones higher and I'll have headaches..." she said nervedly and looked at the pair. She wasn't really fond of either of them. "Oh. This blonde guy - isn't he the prince of Solaria? Oh my, too many rainbows out there." And as long as rainbows were connected to fluffy things, she would never like them.[break] [break] But suddenly, there was a hand in between her and Yvette. With surprise she looked up; it was hand of the headmistress of Cloud Tower, ★ Evanora! A slightly diabolical grin appeared on her face as she heard the words of her headmistress. They were definitely more encouraging for the witch to give her best than the ones of Elanor. "We will certainly, Miss Evanora," Metaphor said self-confidently and firmly. There was nothing else that was thinkable for her. And Evanora's words were really inspiring - she had thought for a moment about manipulating the written but she wasn't sure if it was possible though. But she would just have to try and find out, right? Being able to rewrite stories would be one of the most useful of powers for her style of acting.[break] So her fellow witch was the witch of chaos... so they would be paper chaos together. A fascinating ability and theme she should ask more about later, because it didn't seem like Yvette would only be able to cause chaos in her environment, but something else as well?[break] [break] Consorting with this sudden meeting with the headmistress was another incident that finally brought the wishe suspense in this all happy day. A girl suddenly broke the mood, letting it shatter into pieces of the joy it had been. Even Metaphor raised in order to get what was going on, keeping her eyes on the headmistress of Alfea who seemed to know the girl.[break] "The bubble's bursting," was one of her remarks as she looked at the sky for a moment because the girl became uninteresting after everyone hurried up to help her. It intrigued her in a way that couldn't be explained with any logical reason. She waited for more things to happen, more overly fascinating things to happen on such a dull day, but, what she saw disgusted her.[break] Creatures with only one eye and possibly no brain at all came out of crystals and walked towards the entrance of Alfea. Unconsciously, Metaphor had moved towards the entrance to see what was happening, maybe still fascinated by the disgusting look the creatures had. She always liked the danger, not particularly searching it, but whenever it arrived, intrigued. Her movements stopped as the barrier was formed, resting almost like the creatures at the doorstep. The show was over before it even started, unfortunately. In the background, she could hear the noises her fellow students made. Crying, sighing, chatting.[break] Being able to break away from the recent happening, she searched for the blonde girl - she had moved quite a lot away now, so it wouldn't be surprising probably if the witch wasn't around right now. But the other fairies and specialists were quite close now... [attr="class","jarbbguntag"]chapter 1. Post by Llir Tarrigan on Dec 4, 2017 16:30:17 GMT -5
Llir howled with laughter as the garlic bread landed squarely in the brown-haired stranger's open mouth. He hadn't intended it, but that made all the more amusing. It was a beautiful shot, perfectly executed. The young Ysian punched the air triumphantly. "By Balor's eye, that was a fine hit! Nodens with his golden bow could've done no better!" Llir was too busy crowing at this supposed victory to notice the glint of malice in the stranger's eye, nor the hand reaching for a fresh loaf.
The projectile bread wedged right into Llir's teeth, causing his eyes to slam open in surprise. Time seemed to freeze for a moment, as if the universe had stopped to appreciate the lovely irony of this tableau. Then Llir's teeth closed around the mouthful, chomping away at it furiously until it had followed the others down to his stomach. Its descent was punctuated by an audible gulp. Instantly, Llir's eyes honed in on his opponent.
Ah, now this was starting to look like good fun.
Lizard-quick, Llir's hand lashed out across the table to seize the boy by his lapels - all in the spirit of play, of course. Llir all but clambered onto the table itself, baring his teeth in a mock-belligerent grin. "It's a fight you want! Let's see if you bite as well as you bark, dog!" With his free hand, he scooped up another handful of bread slices. "You'd do well to tremble - no tousle-haired crowson ever bested Llir Tarrigan at battle or banquet. But I would know the name and lineage of the man I'm about to destroy!"
All of which was really Llir's way of saying: "Hello, new friend! Nice shindig this, isn't it? Let's eat until we're both sick as pigs!"
But sadly, it was not to be, for the reverly was just then cut rudely short. A succession of several events seemed to occur in but the span of a handful of moments. Llir watched it all unfold in an attitude of concerned confusion, his hand still clutching the other boy's lapels. The facts of the situation eventually filtered in their way into his conscious mind. The party had been crashed by a girl pursued by monsters, the magical barrier protecting the grounds of Alfea had fallen, and a swarm of monsters was advancing upon them.
A change came over Llir then. It was hardly dramatic, barely even noticeable to anyone who didn't really know him. His expression was still one of confused concern, but there was a hint of steel in his eyes and the set of his jaw. An attack had been the last thing he'd expected at a banquet, but the reflexes he'd honed on Fianna were kicking into gear. "Apologies, friend," he murmured to the brown-haired boy. "Our contest is postponed. A bigger fight has dropped into our laps!" There was a hint of a grin on Llir's lips as he said this.
But before he could reach for Endeavor's hilt, a voice rang out from the platform. It belonged to a gaunt man with angular features, who seemed to be addressing all three student bodies. It didn't take Llir long to catch onto the plan. A mass incantation, employing the power of all magic users present to ward against the attackers. Llir approved, though he couldn't repress a pang of disappointment that he wasn't getting to battle monsters.
Not yet, anyway.
Obediently, he adopted the meditating posture used by the druids on Fianna - back straight, chin pointing downwards, the first two fingers of his right hand touching the center of his forehead as he recited the incantation.
"I beseech you, mighty aegis; protect thine blessing, expose thy soul cast thy gold, I rush violently Zeus who holds the aegis, all things divine and human.
Forte Scrutum!"
He felt the familiar tingle of magic all around him, saw the golden aura dancing around his limbs as it flowed it into the great barrier that was forming above the school. Llir permitted himself only a brief moment to marvel at the spectacle. "So this is what they call a unified Enchantment." He glanced up at the platform, and the gaunt man who had just taught them the incantation. "These fairies are mighty in wizardry..."
Llir's eyes took in the expressions of some his fellow students. Not all of them were standing tall in the face of this new threat, and few for unfazed. Many were confused, frightened, panicking. He clenched his teeth. For the sake of those who could not defend themselves, he would not be found wanting. They had all sworn to the same iron code on Fianna - he would not break it here, tripping on the very first hurdle.

Neither Alfea or Cloud Tower shared Red Fountain’s need for uniforms. And the girl who met Valerian’s stare, soft lips quirking gently in what might have been interest, might have been amusement, possessed a flattering, feminine style of attire that surpassed his limited knowledge about fashion. “Hmm.” A soft, teasing murmur, as if she were thinking over his words.[break][break] He felt a tightness build within his chest. And then his attention, like many who stood nearby, turned at the loud gasp of exclamation, vocalized by a red-haired girl, garbed in black and yellow. Although she stood at a distance, directly before the academy’s golden gates, her voice had carried above the music. And her message was clear.[break][break] Some smirked, almost as if to be sympathetic. Others seemed just as intrigued, curious at that Solaria’s prince was in attendance, a potential new student of Red Fountain.[break][break] Valerian knew very little about Solaria, and even less about its royalty. And yet he too found himself staring, his brightly-blue gaze lingering upon long fiery-red hair. The colour that had begun to spread across pale cheeks, visible from even where he stood.[break][break] And his own face felt suddenly hot. His stomach twisted, and he felt that tightness in his chest grow more taunt as his pulse quickened. Swallowing thickly, Valerian tried to breathe-in deeply, to calm himself.[break][break] It happened sometimes. His emotions flipping without reason, often beyond his own ability to make sense of. It was only marginally better than the phantom pains that he sometimes felt in his arms or legs. Than his cryptic dreams of light, of a different existence. All he could do was struggle to hold his composure, control over himself, coaxing that he didn’t really feel that way at all. But somehow, he was finding it harder to slow his heartbeat, as if that shade of red was too distracting.[break][break] Then the smaller, softer shape of a hand was holding to his. And Valerian dropped his gaze back to the earlier girl, who now regarded him with a questioning expression. “I thought that you wanted to dance?” she spoke.[break][break] Right. Dance. He wanted that distraction, now he needed it.[break][break] With one hand moving to the small of her back, Valerian returned her grip with his other, falling into the correct steps, taking the lead, no further pondering was necessary for dancing was easy enough. And the music was even better, flowing just loud enough that although he could see her lips moving; her conversation was lost in the sound. Unable to intrude upon his own musings, not enough to convince him to contribute more than wordless, non-committed murmurs or huffs.[break][break] One step. Two step. Valerian had thought that a physical distraction, a familiar routine, would be enough to force out that strange feeling of embarrassment, uncertainty, but he could still feel it, climbing about within his gut. Spectral fingers gripping stubborn and strong. And then a sharpness pierced his chest, and he stopped. Stopped frowning, stopped dancing, just stopped. An abrupt change that his dancing partner showed her annoyance for. Her mouth an unhappy line, parting to speak, but Valerian spoke first.[break][break] ”Something’s wrong …” Murmured softly, almost as if as a question, but Valerian felt it. A cold and weighted certainty. Uneasiness, what could have quickly twisted itself into distress or fear, clawed at his throat. And his brightly-blue hues moved towards the school’s gates, a commotion had begun to form, of each academy’s staff gathering there.[break][break] And then the barrier came down.[break][break] Like a mirror shattering.[break][break] And, likewise, Alfea’s celebration broke. Music replaced by the shouts and cries of anxious, upset and frightened adolescents. And the gnome professor’s voice fighting to provide reason and authority above the distress, which was probably for the best. A sinking ship needed a captain.[break][break] The situation wasn’t as awful as many seemed to think that it was, not to Valerian. They were all alive and yet unhurt. The move on the board was theirs to make, and they still had direction in the form of Theodore Bartholomew Barfazoid Igor the Twelfth Gnome the Sixth and Red Fountain’s own headmaster, Mordecai Colm. It was far too early to give in to fear and doubt.[break][break] The gnome wanted everyone with magic to work with him. That was Valerian’s direction too then.[break][break] Breathing deeply in, he focused on the warmth of the fire ever within him. The soft shape of his mouth moving, reciting –[break][break] ”I beseech you, mighty aegis;[break] protect thine blessing, expose thy soul[break] cast thy gold, I rush violently[break] Zeus who holds the aegis, all things divine and[break] Human, Forte Scrutum!” [break][break] Valerian felt the ki burning within him, conjured from everyone. Golden light blazing from his being, not blue for the first time. He wondered if it would work, the new barrier, if it would be enough. That uneasiness hadn’t relinquished its hold around his throat yet.[break][break] But that was fine. Valerian was no stranger to battle.

私はあなたを知って いたと思いました 。 I thought your love had hurt me. but I don't feel anything anymore. [attr="class","Again"] ❝ He should've expected this. Anyone and everyone on the planet of Solaria knew who he was but... it wasn't wrong to feel squirmish being called 'your highness' at school was it? Sure it was only natural back home. Everyone knew him as the Prince, the King's son and whatever else others knew him for. Probably as a kind person who cared for his people... which was true. But the thought made him feel guilty as Fritz still remembered only going outside for the vague memory of his mother. Now though, now he greeted the people for himself. Because he really did want to protect them; in his own name as well as his mother's.
"You don't have to be so formal! After today we're classmates in a roundabout way right? Or... you know college mates. Just call me Fritz." He didn't want to be addressed as 'Your Highness' by the girl every time they struck up conversation. But that didn't even seem to be his biggest problem considering just standing here was enough to put the redhead into a bit of a tizzy. Actually, it was kinda amusing which caused a stifled laugh to escape his lips. Fritz had forgotten how much fun it was to tease certain members of the populace by just sort of... showing up.
Which was the point when a sad smile crept across his face. "Growing up in the palace... isn't as amazing as you make it out to be." Yes he'd learned a few things about both magic and weaponry fighting. He'd learned to talk to people in a way where he had the upper hand and how the kingdom worked. But most of his time was spent learning about how to 'be the King'. Anything he learned about the people he'd learned through sneaking out of the palace to see the city. The palace just... had too many feelings attached to his mother. Too many people remembered her. "But yeah I learned to protect. Both with magic and weapons."
Her name was very pretty. It suited her. The impression that she gave was also refreshing compared to some that he'd been forced to experience back in the Solarian Palace for all the royal occasions. Fritz was certainly enjoying the conversation to no end. "Pleased to meet you Elena. Your name is beautiful - it suits you!" However he didn't miss her gaze drifting to another which froze his heart instantly. This had happened before; people talking at him but not to him. Perhaps she'd just brush him off. No. No that wouldn't happen. Surely? He didn't enjoy using his status but no one would stop talking to the Prince of their planet? Right?
You would not imagine the Prince's relief when she turned back to him, only to have a sword slide past as his eyes widened. Another girl had stumbled through the Alfea gates, seemingly in distress. Without a second thought Fritz had dashed forward to pick up the sword as the girl had exclaimed. Clearly it was valuable or of some sort of importance. For what, he wasn't sure. He hated not knowing but sometimes ignorance truly was bliss. But one of the proffessors got there first and he simply looked from afar to make sure the girl was alright.
That was the moment when the barrier began to be eaten away. After hearing about how magic had protected the school Fritz couldn't hide the surge of panic suddenly welling up. People could get hurt without that magical barrier - people would. Especially when the person started summoning some sort of.... creature.
"What the...?"
With his right hand the Prince took off his protective ring, transforming it to the full size. Oh yes he knew full well that he had no spells in his arsenal that would be able to harm those things. Since he'd begun learning magic he'd been a protector, a healer, by choice. No matter how much his father had pestered him. Fritz quickly positioned himself between the Headmistresses and the creatures, ready to fend them off.
"This is an exciting first day eh?"

[nospaces] [attr="class","peek-text"] "Thinking outside of the box," Yves let a soft chuckle escape her lips, "we're going to get along wonderfully~" just as she had suspected, Metaphor would prove to be one of the few allies Yvette assumed to make within Cloud tower's ranks and walls. Though, she hadn't gone out of her way to meet anyone else as of yet; her female's intuition about the poet seemed to check out. There was an intrigue that had captured and enthralled her. Maybe it was the subtle taste of menace in the other's words. Or, maybe it was the air of mystery that floated about Metaphor's person. Regardless, Yvette had locked her sights onto the girl. Allies, while a nuisance at times, were a necessity. And, if they were worthy allies, that made it all the better. But back to the event at hand. "It's just one huge pep rally. Most likely some means to dispel the nerves." She sighed, "anyone that has nerves now, doesn't deserve to be here." Blue hues shined with a glint of malice. "Magic isn't all fun and games. If they hadn't realized that before enrollment, they're doomed." [break][break] Her daunting statement would cease with a chuckle. "Well, most magic isn't all fun and games. I find mine to be quite enjoyable." Speaking of magic, Yvette had yet to gather what type of witch Metaphor was exactly. A poet, yes. But could that hold some sort of clue as to her magical expertise? Hm... something with sound, perhaps? Maybe some variant of illusion magic? Whatever the case may have been, Yvette's train of thought had been stopped by the speaking of roommates. "Ah, they haven't announced anything yet. I assumed it was a first come first serve deal. But, then again, maybe we should run it by Headmistress Evanora? I would love to have you as my roommate~" Hands moved to clap together happily. "We can decorate together. I imagine purples and blacks for your side of the room, yes?" It would be marvelous! "Oh, you have siblings? It must be nice to have someone to bother when you were bored back home." What Yves had, she couldn't really call them siblings. "The life of an only child can be quite dreary sometimes." Shoulders shrugged idly before attention shifted back to the blond. Prince of Solaria? Really? "Oh~? How intriguing." Lips parted to exposed a grin of pearly whites. Would it really be this eas—a hand separated the two. [break][break] "Oh, headmistress Evanora." Hues of azure turned to the woman of power, a smile at glossed lips. "Yes ma'am. I can assure you this year will be one for the books." A sweet yet, haughty giggle chimed forth. "We will certainly make you proud." Yvette's last words to the woman as she left their side. Head craning back over to Metaphor soon after. "A plethora of them," she spoke in reference to the rainbow comparison. "But, that's fine. At the end of each rainbow, there's a treasure." Her grin widened. "They're also a symbol of good luck, correct?" No sooner had Yvette muttered the inquiry, commotion had begun. "I would say so." Eyes darted about, taking in the scene. A newcomer, a female with sword in hand. The three headmasters moving to swift and affirmative action in tandem of her arrival. "The beautiful butterfly effect at it's finest." Yvette rose from her seat, watching as Metaphor took off towards the entrance. The Witch of paper, huh? Splendid. [break][break] Eyes shot forth to the prince of Solaria. There was always the foolhardiness within courageous acts. And this seemed to be prime example. Delectable. The ramblings of the male attempting to garner their magic fell to deaf ears. How would she be able to discern the situation if she stopped to spare her magic? It wasn't going to happen. Not yet, at least. Her eyes were set on a much... brighter, prize. Hands lit up a purple glow as Yves made her way to FRITZEROY REGULUS's side. "Quite exciting, I would say." She replied to him. The purple glow to her palms eminent. "Allow me to aid you, your highness."[break][break] [attr="class","peek-notes"]tl;dr — yvette leaves the table and comes to fritzroy's side |

[nospaces] [attr="class","peek2-text"] "Kekeke, Ando Family technique. Bread throwing." Granted, it wasn't an actual family technique by any means. But, Koga's shot hit it's mark and it was enough to fill the boy with pride. His lips had parted to expose a grin that gave off the pride he felt in his accomplishment. Pearly whites with sharper and more, pronounced canines on display as he too began to howl in jest. Food fights were instances he had only heard of. From his infrequent trips to earth for whatever reason he needed to be there. The earthly students would speak about the happenings on occasion. And, well, never directly to him either. It was more so information garnered via eavesdropping. Of course, Koga never interjected into their conversations. Instead, he looked and listened on with envy. Wondering if he would ever be able to garner such camaraderie? To have fond memories of such instances occurring among him and those he enjoyed being in the presence of. With the way things were going now though, he figured he had a shot at it. [break][break] Enrolling into Red Fountain was slowly becoming one of the better decisions he had made in quite some time. [break][break] With a cocky glint in his eye, an smug smirk plastered against his features; Koga looked down towards the meat that rested against his plate. Now maybe he could finally get to taste a sample of what he had already assumed to be a meal crafted by the artisans of food and spices. Fingers wiggled, coming closer to the meat and ready to rip a piece off for his enjoyment. But, alas, the time for feasting had come to an end once more. Lapels were seized and Koga found himself looking eye to eye with the stranger. The stranger who seemed to be named Llir Tarrigan. Huh, okay, well, that took care of the introductory portion of the meeting it seemed. However, with resolve within coal colored hues; a matching grin formed. "My bark is just as worse as my bite!" Which well, had proven true on several occasions. When the brown haired male was truly enraged, that is. However, this was just a friendly match of sorts. So it surely wouldn't be that harsh. Or harsh at all, for that matter. [break][break] Ready to accept the challenge, Koga's lips parted to fire off another witty quip. But closed shortly after the commotion began. His eyes looked onward in a amalgamation of bewilderment and confusion. A female appeared... with sword in hand, at that. And, she seemed to be in some form of distress. Then, craning his head, there were some form of monsters oncoming in the distance. What was going on? Who would decide to crash the festivities? Especially with the high level magic users present? It seemed like a futile attempt at... whatever they were attempting to achieve. It wasn't until Llir spoke that Koga was brought back to from his mild stupor. "Right!" He nodded in agreement. [break][break] Being freed from the grasp of the other, Koga quickly rose from his seat and reached back towards the black hilts situated within a container attached to his belt. His knives would be needed to tend to the oncoming threat. And with the paradigm shift and steely resolve written against his hues and countenance, he had already begun devising some form of plan. Although, a voice of authority rang through the air before Koga could move to definitive action. Calling out instructions for the mass of students to follow. Eyes darted from the platform, to Llir, to the monsters. He reasoned it to be the bet course of action. Keeping the barrier up would give them time to devise other strategies. So, his eyes closed and a sigh was taken. Arms at his sides, both of his hands moved to his center, the right hand on top of the left one, palms facing upward; the tips of his thumbs touching. He began reciting the incantation: [break][break] "I beseech you, mighty aegis; protect thine blessing, expose thy soul cast thy gold, I rush violently Zeus who holds the aegis, all things divine and human,
Forte Scrutum!" [break] The sensation of magic flowing about his body began. The aura of gold would proceed to wisp about the air and travel towards the barrier. Koga's eyes would soon open and his attention would turn back to Llir. "Koga Ando." He finally introduced himself. Quickly moving to retrieve two of the hilts from their compartment. Securing them in each of his hands. "We're not just gonna stand around, are we?" The grin on his face apparent. [break][break] [attr="class","peek-notes"]tl;dr — Koga recites the incantation, grabs two blades and readies for battle |

"I'm sure the more experience individuals will have no trouble dealing with the problem." Jason said to Koga voicing his opinion to his fellow student as he stepped forward. "Then again I wouldn't be all that surprised a few of us decide to jump in regardless. I'm sure a good majority of the people here aren't fans of sitting around and doing nothing when there's trouble." He said holding what looks like....a stick? The boy can't seriously be thinking about engaging a potential enemy with a two foot stick can he? Regardless, he wasn't gonna back down judging by the serious and determined look cast upon his face.
Moments ago, Jason was sitting in the back row hidden among the crowd of students. The boy held a shy and unsure nature to himself as he was inexperienced with being around people his own age. He was worried that he wouldn't be able to make any real progress with people due to his status as royalty. However, such thoughts needed to be put on hold for the time being due to a disturbance. The arrival of monsters forced the boy out of his shyness in order to protect his fellow students.
"I beseech you, mighty aegis; protect thine blessing, expose thy soul cast thy gold, I rush violently Zeus who holds the aegis, all things divine and human,
Forte Scrutum!"
He spoke the incantation as instructed and felt a warm sensation in his being as the barrier was strengthened. "Oh! I almost forgot. My name is Jason." He said introducing himself to Koga and Llir.

[nospaces][googlefont=Roboto:300,400] [attr="class","jarbbgun"] [attr="class","jarbbgunt"] [attr="class","jarbbgunicon"] [attr="class","jarbbguntext"]An allyship was right now formed between the two witches, Metaphor and YVETTE CALLISTUS. It was surprising considering that it was the very first day they met - but female intuition can't be deceived. She was indeed looking forward to seeing what would happen from now on, after leaving this welcoming party for the freshmen. When the real fight would start. "They're doomed anyway once we can leave this party and start our own," Metaphor replied with that slightly malevolent look in her eyes that was one of the traits of a witch, probably. Witches were there to trouble the otherwise all light life, just like a certain poet had said in his work. How was it like? "I'm a part of that force that always wanted the evil but makes the good?" She would make sure to be as evil as she can in her very own way. And even if the good wins at the end, she would never give up.[break] Their magic was one of the most interesting things, but the theme was skipped now rather quickly in favour of something other genuinely essential: the decoration of their room. If it'd be their room, after all. And it was a topic that suited Metaphor's age more and showed that she still was a adolescent even though she often acted much older. A grin appeared on her face as Yvette said that they could be room mates. "It'd be a pleasure," she said with an even excited expression on her face considering the fact that she often seemed to have only a few emotions: sardonically amused, incredibly bored or devilishly intrigued. "Violet is a must-have for me in some ways, yes; and black's suits it just best I think. I assume you'd be rather white and pink?" she chuckled quietly. At least it would fit her appearance then, too. Purple and pink, black and white; interesting combination indeed.[break] [break] "Yes, and some too many - if they stop bothering me for a moment, maybe," she laughed ironically. They were so nerving and vexing and all that stuff. However... "It's quite funny to think about ways how to get rid of them temporarily." After all, they weren't a family of murders! So she was an only child? "I sometimes really miss quiet in the house," she said before the attention was drawn to the prince of Solaria, the one and only. Intriguing? If Yvette liked, Metaphor would keep herself somewhere else probably. The sunny boy wasn't of any interest for her.[break] However, before one of them could do anything else, the headmistress in person interrupted their conversation to encourage the witches. Both were confident to do their best, and Evanora left shortly after.[break] A treaure at the end of the rainbow, huh? "Good luck with finding a treasure out there; I guess it won't be mine," she answered rather amused. Her mood had really gotten better now.[break] [break] And as the icing on the cake, something really happened. "Then we should go and fly." She couldn't help herself but getting up right away, even not being aware of herself coming closer to the entrance. And even before she knew it, she was there. She still was away from the center, but she stood very close. And she wasn't at all willed to help right now rising another barrier because she was so... intrigued. Not as Yvette before by a person, but by these disgusting creatures. She disliked them from the start, but there was something around them that kept her insanity fascinated.[break] However, truth to be told, if they would attack her or came any closer, she would destroy them. And it was like there were some highly motivated people around here as well. Oh, and another royalty, who-hop. The Atwater prince was present here as well, right next to hime were two other boys standing. All prepared to fight, all prepared to face the evil.[break] She sighed and looked firmly at the entrance. Her one hand moved to one of her hidden pockets in her dress, moving an unremarkable sheet of golden paper outwards. She held it in her hand until it the cream-white golden paper was needed. For a moment, she saw that Yvette had successfully came closer to the prince she wanted to approach before another man came into her sight. VALERIAN NORTH was an indimidating figure on the chess field. He seemed to enjoy some bonuses from the headmaster of the Red Fountain, so maybe...[break] "Hey, do you know by any chance what's going on?" she asked the other white-haired directly and without any sign of hesitation, the folded paper was placed on her back in her there folded hands. She glanced up in order to see the reaction. Probably he wouldn't be really pleased, but what did it matter? Nothing. And her eyes were quickly drawn to the creatures again. "So, will there be a movement, or will they fade away?" Her evil intuition told her that the head of this creatures already left and was far away. [attr="class","jarbbguntag"]chapter 1. Post by Llir Tarrigan on Dec 5, 2017 18:08:05 GMT -5
Llir allowed his hands to drop to his sides as he concluded his incantation. His frame remained terse and alert, however, ready to leap into action. He was conscious of the brown-haired boy, who had just introduced himself as Koga Ando, advancing to stand alongside him with a dagger in each hand. They were joined by a third boy, of leaner build, who introduced himself as Jason. Llir saw that the golden aura of the enchantment still lingered around all three of them.
"Glad to meet you both," was Llir's short reply, but it was deeply meant. Already he felt heartened to have two stout companions at his side. Not that he needed that much heartening, of course. The day Llir Tarrigan would cower before such shambling excuses for foes was the day goats would fly! Given half a chance, he would tackle the lot of them without a second thought and damn the consequences. The masters of Fianna had oftened despaired of his rashness, but to Llir's mind, the best offence was quite simple the best offence.
Still, the third boy's words brought him back down to earth somewhat. Llir heaved a wistful sigh. "You're not wrong, Jason. The likes of the mighty Colm will make short work of these bumbling creatures. But I will admit, I wouldn't mind getting a crack at them myself. By Nuada's silver hand! What better way to show off our mettle, as acolytes of Red Fountain?" He looked up at the golden barrier, almost accusingly.
Then a thought occurred to him. The grounds of Alfea were protected from the enemy onslaught, but what about the people outside the barrier? It was a worrisome thought.
However, it was briefly shunted aside by yet another thought. Llir turned to squint at the third boy over his shoulder. "Just Jason, is it? Llir Tarrigan, Koga Ando and... Jason?" The Ysian worked his mouth this way and that, as if trying out the taste of the names. It had an awkward ring and metre to it. He wondered how the bards would work around Jason's name when they came to pen this tale. To Llir, of course, it was a given that bards would be involved in the process somewhere.
Llir turned to Koga. "It might work. It might not. I don't know if it sounds well. Do you think it sounds well? Koga?" Barely waiting for an answer, he turned curiously back to Jason. "Do you have any other names, by any chance?"

[attr="class","kfbase"] [attr="class","kftop"] [attr="class","kficon"] [attr="class","kfboxbase"] WE'RE YOUNG HEARTS, LOOK AT US GO [attr="class","kfbox"] "Fritzeroy..." Elena uttered softly. Addressing him without proper formality felt...unnatural. It wasn't everyday she met someone of royal stature, and little did she know that there were, too, many whom were soon to be attending Alfea alongside her. But it wasn't until the utterance of her name as "beautiful" caught her off guard! The thought of becoming a princess at such a young age already?! Ludicrous, she wasn't ready. Covering her face as auburn hues shifted elsewhere; the young maiden could no longer view the male within his face. "T-T-T-T-T-T-Thank you so much, I'm sorry!" she exclaimed as loud as she could. But before she could continue the conversation with Fritzeroy; her gaze would come to witness a pinkette girl carrying what looked to have been a sword. As she fell, and the sword slid past the pair, she'd gasp with shock. "W-What..." And as the staff came rushing t aid the young girl and confiscate the sword. Much worse things were to happen next. Turning back to face FRITZEROY REGULUS with a look of fright. A barrier manifested over Alfea, but it was dissipating! "What's going on...Why is this happening?" Was it he girl's doing? No. She wasn't aware as to what had been occurring, but, though faint, she felt the energy of a dark presence. Professor Thedoroe then called forth the power of those capable of magic after the barrier was fully gone. Directing her gaze toward those who assisted, Elena watched, still near the entrance of the gate, as a golden barrier manifested in place of the transparent blue colored barrier. "This...is what magic is capable of...?" She spoke in awe. But then the hand of a disgusting creature came to be near the barrier once her head lowered to stare at it in the face. A scream erupted for all to hear near the entrance. "A monster?!" she stated upon falling on her bottom. "What is that?!" Her head shot toward YVETTE CALLISTUS who began to speak with the prince, still startled by the monstrous figures on the outside of the barrier. [attr="class","catempfree2base"] [attr="class","catempfree2top"] VENI. VIDI. VICI. [attr="class","catempfree2txt"]Hues of silver leveled upon the mysterious girl that entered the banquet. The crown prince was in high-alert despite showing it physically—steady eyes slowly panning from left to right in attempt to catch something; anything that didn't sit right with the ever so vigilant prince. When the various Headmasters sprung into action, it didn't take a genius to realize something terrible and dastardly had taken place. Alimayu took a step forward and listened intently. However, before he could get into the thick of it all, the Headmaster of Red Fountain intercepted his steps—the steps of Mordecai Colm causing the very foundation below to whence in pain. Alimayu respected this man almost to the same extent he respected his father, so when Colm spoke, he listened with keen ears and had full intentions of going beyond the call of duty. " Sir!" Voice full of respect and confidence as he followed directly behind the opposing man. Taking a position alongside his brethren, muscular ebon arms rose skyward and very specific words rolled off his tongue like clockwork. " "I beseech you, mighty aegis; protect thine blessing, expose thy soul cast thy gold, I rush violently Zeus who holds the aegis, all things divine and human, Forte Scrutum!"" Once complete and the magic did its thing. Alimayu took to the front lines, eyes still panning from left to right in hopes of catching something out of order. [nospaces] [attr="class","gustasbar1"] [attr="class","gustasbase"] [attr="class","gustaspic"] [attr="class","gustasmain"] ✿ The princess had been mesmerized by the lights, the speech and the doves – she responded in awe at the Guardian Fairy magical hologram – but it also braught the melancholic reminder of her possible future as the caretaker of a crying tree. Aside from that, the school looked beautiful, fun and just a relief from home. Sadly it quickly turned into chaos. [break][break] "I beseech you, mighty aegis;[break]

cast thy gold, I rush violently [break]
Zeus who holds the aegis, all things divine and human,"
[break][break] She chanted whilst looking preoccupied at the sudden and unexpected chaos that entailed, magic just started flowing and adding to the protective barrier. Her body position looked simply… Meek and paled in comparison to her busy surroundings. Poppy looked shy, defenseless – while at the same time, all around her , her to-be teammates were all standing up and taking action. The Red Fountain boys where gathering weapons all around her and everything just happened really fast. Too fast for her. [break][break] She did not have any guards around her, while a princess she had never exactly loved the attention or being viewed as something that had to be protected. Sadly, while she received some forms of training, they where mostly theory- oriented and therefore she never had to experience a big threat or foe to actually beat. Her magic in her current form was weaker – but she wasn’t exactly used and very adept at her Winx form yet either. Her parents told her it would pose a threat, they said it would be hard and they said dangers lurked every single corner, she knew that. But she sure as hell wasn’t expecting it to be this quick. [break][break] Poppy then started to move, scared and trying not to enter in a frenzy, eyes tearing up a bit as she wondered what to do. Thanks to all of the students moving around and about in the sector she was – she tried to move away and find…She wasn’t even sure what she was trying to find. Whatever it was, it did not work. [break][break] “K-Kyah!”

[GoogleFont=Raleway|Montserrat|Ubuntu] [attr="class","spevent1"] WARNING: loud and scary. ▼[player]http://k003.kiwi6.com/hotlink/ic0p9ihq3p/Hollow_Ichigos_Laugh_English_Dubbed_.mp3[/player] "Gyahaha! Ah man, you're all so dead!" In the horde outside of the transparent barrier. Many could see the crowd of gray, one-eyed skinwalkers being thrown into the air about; others would come to notice green fluid gushing into the air for there had been an unknown entity forcefully clearing its way through the heinous creatures. As a single-eyed creature remained standing in front of the barrier, where there were still meaning surrounding the campus, a claw-like glove grasped its head. Squeezing the head as hard as he could, the creature would come to burst entirely into nothing but green ooze the moment his eyeball had been destroyed in the process. It was a silver-haired male with ruby irises that resembled an antares. Slamming his forehead against the golden barrier, clenched his teeth were; ]he stared at those near the entrance ( YVETTE CALLISTUS , FRITZEROY REGULUS , Elena Casterwill ) and then toward the many students gathered behind the two staff members of Alfea and Headmaster of Mordecai. "Aha...Ahaha..." A silent laughter began to arise simultaneously as his hues widened. Once more, the maniacal laughter sounded. Sniffing the barrier enticed, weaved, and laced with great magic. The assailant continued on by licking the barrier. "I can taste it. I can taste all the good magic here; I can sense the sword, My Lady. We won't let her escape this time, they may have failed but I'll show you I'm the strongest. I'm the body, I'm gonna be the first." It was as if he were having a conversation with himself, as if this dark being was someone of not sound mind. Banging his forehead upon the barrier, ripples manifested with each sheer force. Each hit did nothing to the barrier... At first anyway. The barrier began to develop crack in the front, and with each crack the male would not cease his incessant banging. His claw-like gloved right hand would then envelop his entire forearm within a black, scale-like layer of skin. "KNOCK, KNOCK, BEGIA WANTS TO JOIN THE PARTY!" With a grip in his right palm he'd punch the golden barrier with all his might upon utilizing it. The barrier broken down by his armor-clad right arm. His fist and forehead, grazed and steaming, were but mere scratches to him. "Whew, what kind of magic do you people have." As remnants of shattered glass from the barrier remained, he'd focus his gaze upon the three students near the entrance still had they not move. Heinously a disgusting smile creased the corner of his maw. "Your pretty cute," he spoke to YVETTE CALLISTUS with a wink, ignoring the frightened girl and her boytoy; though the ring, which FRITZEROY REGULUS wielded, caught his attention. He wanted to comment upon it, but before he could did a burst of wind bypass the trio. A mighty halberd in hand and a blurring movement beyond one's capability of sight did Headmaster Mordecai move in. Protecting the students as best as he could, he'd create a shockwave that pushed those, whom were incapable of standing their ground from it, back a few three to four meters back. Successfully the enemy known as Begia stood his ground using his armored forearm to block the mighty halberd Headmaster Mordecai wielded. "Out of my way old man, your boring me." Begia uttered shakily, a nasty grin forming upon his face menacingly. Pushing the villain off of him, Headmaster Mordecai would twirl his halberd in a confusing manner to throw off Begia's senses. And successfully, unable to keep up with Mordecai's movements, the headmaster would grant Begia a walloping smack with his mighty halberd as if he were a golf ball; whereas his halberd the golf club. "Theodore, prep the children for combat! I'll hold the leader back, please take care of the rest!" As Begia was sent flying quite far into the forest of Alfea's woods, Professer Emerald would step in, "Here, let me help, Wings of Castiel!" Enchanting the Headmaster with wings of golden feathers, he'd follow after the distance he sent Begia flying. Now leaving the students in the care of Professor Emerald and Professor Theodore. Sadly, though Headmaster Mordecai was handling Begia, the students still had to deal with his mindless army of gray skinwalkers. Professor Emerald of Alfea's staff quickly analyzed the situation as the horde neared the entrance. Staring at the many students who were in fear, there were those willing to fight in the name of their future and the school of Alfea. "Listen up, everyone, I don't have much time to give you an uplifting speech; and, yes, this is scary. But this is what you are all here to do, here to learn. I-I-I'm scared myself and I'm the adult here," Professor Emerald spoke, "But we have a duty, and that's to protect those who cannot be protected. And right now, those of you who are capable of fighting, prep for battle! Those capable of support magic and defense, please remain upon the backline in case your magic is needed to treat the wounded. Witches, Specialist, and Fairies, it's time to unite and protect our school!" Those who wanted to fight roared in cheer, others began to shift into their fairy form, and the witches, at least some of them, prepped to battle out of the joy of getting to go wild on the first day! As Begia had been sent flying, a facial expression that showcased that he wasn't too amused, he'd murmur before his hard landing, "Bring me the sword, Nosoi, devour those who stand in your way; release your screams." And with a loud, booming noise indicating his harsh landing. A dust cloud hovered about the air from afar. Though, as for the horde of one-eyed gray skinwalkers, their movement halted for but a mere moment. It was all but silence, still. Then the sound of screams emerged from them as they began to charge in. This indicated that the time to battle was now! Their army of skinwalkers running abrasively as they would charge into Alfea. [newclass=.spevent2 b]color:#e63a63;font:bold 11px arial[/newclass] [newclass=.spevent2 a]font-family:raleway;font-size:7pt;color:#dc697f!important;text-transform:lowercase;[/newclass] » Alert, Alert! Urgent objective, the battle for the protection of Alfea has begun! The first wave has initiated fifty Nosoi's, you must deal with the first wave for Nosoi before another mod post can be made! You can only kill five Nosoi per post! Please make sure to indicate the number of Nosoi dealt with, if your character has chosen to fight, in your OOC Notes; as well as please provide me with a tl;dr going forward! CURRENT OBJECTVE- ☐: Stop the first wave of Nosoi before the December 10th, 2017!
- ☐: There should at least be a minimum of 150 words or more, nothing less!
- ☐: Protect Linette!

[nospaces][googlefont=Roboto:300,400] [attr="class","jarbbgun"] [attr="class","jarbbgunt"] [attr="class","jarbbgunicon"] [attr="class","jarbbguntext"]Before she could get an answer and before she could think any more about it, more and more movement entered the scene. It seemed like Metaphor's intuition got a lot to learn yet. Where she expected to see the creatures lingering, they were being thrown away. All except one who had an even crueller fate ahead him. Even though the green whatever was disgusting, she couldn't keep her eyes of the claw whose possessor was a figure even more disgusting. He was completely insane, and that was the thought of someone whose mind wasn't in the best state either. However, the white haired girl wouldn't ever fall down to this state. To this very digusting state.[break] "He'll come through." She knew it just because it would be some joke otherwise, and only a few moments later, he came. She prepared herself for battle, checking the paper around her, holding the one in her hand tight. Ah, and there she was - Yvette, too. But she'd probably was able to deal with things on her own, so Metaphor didn't worry too much about her. She wouldn't worry about anyone, so her allies should better keep themselves going. Oh, and please, could this professor shut up?[break] Metaphor looked at her, very annoyed. Who was motivated by this speech, heh? At least the professor gave the witches the very honour to be mentioned first. As she tensed up, a malevolent grin appeared on her face now. She didn't like battles very much, but that would be a perfect opportunity to test her paper pikes. And she wouldn't let any creature come too close to her, they were the ugliest thing she had ever seen so far. And she was intrigued by the thought that there was so much more to see in this world; to die today was not an option.[break] "Mucro,", she whispered, concentrating her magic firstly only on one sheet of paper and only on one of these creatures and their eyeballs as well. They were, now more obviously than before, mindless. In a far distance, she could see a cloud of dust rising against the sky. And then, screams. She winced for a very short moment before she accelerated the first pike into the direction of the creature closest to her. "Oh my dear. Will you stop this screaming immediately?" she murmured, an expression of genuine resentment on her face. This meant war. Now that more than one of her senses were attacked...[break] "Go to hell. Mucrones." She formed more pikes, moving and accelerating them into the direction of the creatures, right into their eyeball. The evil grin on her face was held back by herself, she didn't intend to look more devilish today than she could afford without scaring everyone off right from the start. Although making friends was not her intention either, probably. One after one fell, bursting into that green whatever she wanted to distance herself from and she wanted to analyze.[break] [break] tl;dr - she talks to herself, looks around the scene and kills 5 of them (if hitting the eyeball was the right way to do so. |D)

Post by Llir Tarrigan on Dec 7, 2017 16:41:07 GMT -5
Horror and wonder chased each other before Llir's eyes like two serpents, each devouring the other's tail. The golden barrier conjured by the united wills of students and teachers alike shuddered like jelly, under the onslaught of a single man. Even from this distance, one glance at his twisted smile was enough to chill Llir to the bone. Finally, the shield shattered under the weight of their enemy's savage blows, drawing cries of terror and despair from the assembly. But then, with a ringing clash of weapons that made Llir's breath catch in his chest, Mordecai himself joined the fray.
As the two combatants vanished overhead into the distance, Llir realised he was witnessing a clash of titans.
But there was no room to stand and gawk. Even though their master was preoccupied, the grey beings had been given their marching orders. They lingered uncertainly for a brief few moments, tongues lolling, teeth gnashing, staring at the students. Glancing around, Llir saw expressions of fear and shock, but also grim determination on the faces of his peers. Following a call to arms from one of the fairy teachers, a great roar of challenge went up from the student body. Llir joined it gladly, bellowing his throat hoarse.
As if in response to this cry, the dark wizard's servants finally made their move. They charged in unison, screaming and gibbering, as if they were but a single entity controlling hundreds of bodies at once. The difference compared to their earlier shambling gait was shocking. Already some of the students, those less apt for combat perhaps, were peeling away from the front lines and retreating to relative safety.
Llir gritted his teeth. "Battle is joined." He glanced sharply at his new companions. "Koga! Jason! With me! We'll meet their charge head on - and drive a wedge into their ranks!" Without waiting to receive approval on this ill-thought out plan, Llir sprinted towards the oncoming horde, drawing Endeavor from its scabard as he did so.
Mana flowed down his arms and into the hilt, and from it flared out a pale blue blade of pure mana. Llir's eyes blazed. He was feet away from the attackers now. He kicked off the ground, rising high into the air for a leaping attack - and with an inarticulate roar, brought Endeavour down to cleave into a skinwalker's head.
The creature's skull split in a wet mess of green gore. Llir struck the lifeless cadaver with his knees, using it to cushion his fall as it crashed to the ground. Lashing out with a sweeping kick, he scythed the legs out from under a second skinwalker, driving his blade into its left temple as it fell. The sensation was sickening - more like plunging metal into a soaked spounge than flesh. Llir fought down the bile in his throat, and climbed to his feet.
With a twinge of apprehension, he realised he was now in the middle of the swarm.
He adopted a mixture of the Seven Steps of Lann, the Dance of the Iron Swan and anything else that worked. The masters had hammered the lesson into him many times. If you treated the battlefield like a training match in the martial halls, you were dead. Two more skinwalkers fell under Endeavor's blade, one dispatched by a slash across the throat, another skewered through the eye. Llir ducked and dodged their swipes, dancing away like a cat on hot marble, never staying in one place for too long.
Until he slipped, and made a costly blunder. An erratic blow struck him across the face, blunt nails scoring three ragged gashes across his left cheek. The strike knocked him sideways for but the skin of a second, but it was enough to spell potential disaster. The skinwalker hurled itself right at him, jaws agape to tear out his throat. Llir reacted instinctively, throwing up a hand to protect himself - and casting a spell.
The skinwalker's single eye was blinded by a flash of white light. Angry and in pain, it did the only thing it knew how to do. It pressed on, and bit.
Its teeth chomped down on hard iron, shattering on impact.
Something smashed into its jaw, mashing it into bone and green pulp.
Llir flourished his left fist triumphantly, now coated in hard iron scales as if he had donned a plate glove. With another wordless battlecry, he dove back into the fray.
TL;DR - Llir smashed five skinwalkers and cast Ironhand on himself.
