everyone's getting settled into the new school year; great things are set for the new generation of future heroes and guardians. the annual welcoming celebration will be happening at alfea soon, so it's best that the new students get settled in. all three schools were to gather at alfea's college for fairies as a way to meet and greet those of the new year. this year the headmistress of alfea and the headmistress of cloud tower want to start this year off better than the last. for last year there was a hex placed upon those who entered through the gates of cloud tower, and let's just say many left with an itchy scalp. but this year alfea will be acting as host for the three major schools within the realm; and this go round nothing could happen with headmistress elanor in charge, right? so get settled in because the event is underway very soon students!

The current heir to the Callistus family name. The namesake holds prestige within the realm in with which Yvette originates. The majority of her family, known for their varying magic skill and prowess, managed to dethrone the previous ruler and took over the realm as their own. The Callistus family prides themselves in competency and victory. Therefore, they push these ideals onto not only their offspring. Within the realm, anyone present has the opportunity to take the throne. Male or Female. And, while witches are plentiful, they are frowned upon. Hence the detest for the Callistus family being in rule. Even though they chose to remain peaceful until assaulted, the dwellers of the realm refused to leave the family in charge. So they began honing their skills. The calm before the impending storm.

THEME » Chaos by definition is referred to as a state of utter confusion or disorder; a total lack of organization or order. Or any confused, disorderly mass. In physics, behavior that is so unpredictable as to appear random, owing to great sensitivity to small changes in conditions. Yvette's magic specializes in harnessing the formless matter and dark energy in use to produce various effects that revolve around chaos inducing events and phenomena.

Alongside being able to dispel dark energy in the form of harmful beams, blasts, and waves; she is capable of casting illusions and hypnosis as well as destabilizing probabilities by inducing chaos. All of her spells and magic carry a purple color and glow unless state otherwise.

In regards to destabilizing probabilities, Yves has the ability to subliminally and psionically initiate random kinetic phenomena that affect probability in her favor by making improbable (but not impossible) things to occur within her field of manipulation, thus causing her to have "good luck" and her opponents to have "bad luck" in a sense. This phenomenon can be anything from an enemy’s equipment failing to hitting just the right switch with a stray shot to shut down an overloading nuclear reactor. However, the severity of her probability shifting adversely correlates with her magic level and prowess (her rank). Also, it is to be noted that the odds and phenomenon that she wishes to toy with, must have the possibility above 0% to cause it and less than 100% to prevent it (or in certain cases, the rate of a given event may need to be above 0% to cause it and less than 100% to prevent it). Yvette is not capable of making the impossible happen and cannot prevent the absolute from happening. For example, while it would be more in her range to create dry rot, or a faltering in flooring instead of causing quick sand to randomly appear within a building due to the former being a probable instance rather than the latter. The larger the event, the more mana is taken from her. Making wide-scale probability manipulations possibly fatal.

In the instance she temporarily removes light from a space, the magic is capable of being broken or dispelled by magic of light. Especially at higher levels.

DESCRIPTION » Magic that allows for Yvette to essentially "remove" sources of light from a designated area and replace the same area in complete darkness. This magic allows for her and one other present to see at her current level for a short period of time. Magic of light can dispel the darkness. If not, the darkness itself will fade away on it's own. The size in with which she can cast the magic depends on her level and understanding of magic (rank). Taking the light away from a room seems to be a more do-able feat than casting a dome over an entire establishment at her beginner level.

DESCRIPTION » Magic that allows for Yvette to manipulate probability fields (often manifesting physically as "hex spheres","hex bolts", "hex waves", or magic circles.) The magic is prompted by a purple glow visible to all followed by one of the manifestations listed. Casting Jynx requires a gesture and concentration on her part, with the gestures being a large focus for the concentration. Her hexes can be used to cause a wide variety of phenomena which include, but are not limited to, rapid decay/healing, lighting flammable objects, shatter objects, stopping the momentum of projectiles, block/unlock/close/open doors, disrupt technological devices, cause structures to fall, essentially cause good or bad luck in subject, and etc. As long as the Jynx is not on an absolute occurrence (the success rate must be higher than 0% and the failure lower than 100% or in certain cases, the rate of a given event may need to be above 0% to cause it and less than 100% to prevent it) it can be used.
